Federación de coaching y programación neurolingüística is an organization devoted to the broad area of scientific study of neurocognitive linguistics and to promote exchange and convergence of scientific ideas with regards to the scientific pursuits in the diverse scientific disciplines. In doing so, the FCPNL promotes a vivid and informed scientific interest in issues of neurocognitive linguistics and seeks to enthuse a shared scientific passion in the diverse group of scientists and scholars working in different scientific disciplines and to identify its role in furthering human knowledge of the issues of neurocognitive linguistics.

Our vision

THERAPY SUPERVISION

Clinical Supervision and Practice Mentoring for Licensed Professionals

We offer a supervisory experience intended to help you to:

Therapy supervision is a professional mentoring and coaching relationship. It advances a therapist’s capabilities through a candid and mutual sharing of perspectives, experiences and information.

Supervision empowers a therapist to develop his or her own natural professional style. It encourages the therapist to use clinical intuition, knowledge and a variety of methods.

A disciplined intuitive sense can help us to identify and tackle our personal sources of distraction, as they arise in the work. It also helps us to get a better grasp on the client’s inner perspectives, interpersonal issues, reality issues and more.

When we intuitively grasp the client’s viewpoint, we can respond with greater relevance, accuracy and impact. Most clients can immediately sense when we truly understand them. They experience a sense of relief. They feel encouraged to risk exploring what really concerns them. A natural and reasonably spontaneous manner on the therapist’s part also contributes to the therapeutic process.

The collaborative, equalitarian model is especially useful in moving the therapeutic process forward. Therapy progresses better when the client feels truly free to challenge the therapist’s ideas and propose his/her own. The collaborative model also fosters an energized, creative dynamic in the therapeutic partnership.

In summary, supervision is meant to help develop your own style, viewpoint and strengths. We believe that a useful approach begins with the therapist’s particular needs and leads to the achievement of practical, professional goals. We are happy to address professional development issues. What do you need to feel fully alive?

We’ve learned that we have to take care of ourselves and to love others too. We need to work at something that genuinely matters to us. We need to grow, to create and to express our true selves – the way young children naturally do.

What has happened to our childhood gift for joy, wonder and creativity?

Just watch young children at play. They are genuine and natural. They are curious, confident, energetic and adventurous. How did we lose touch with these inborn gifts and powers?

The long dependency of childhood makes us too vulnerable to repressive messages from others. Peer rejection, parental anxiety, negativity and detachment make children feel emotionally threatened. We can lose our natural, inner focus and react with excessive dependency, negativity or detachment. This can lead to interpersonal, academic or career problems, which further erode self esteem. Eventually, we may feel exhausted, demoralized or “stuck.”

Anxiety, depression and anger are signals that something important needs to be addressed. We may mistakenly believe that our upset feelings are the problem. It’s useful to get objective help in order to clearly identify and resolve the real issues.

Here are some of the ways that people get stuck:

Unknowingly accepting ideas and attitudes that thwart our happiness, functioning or sense of self.

Assuming that a toxic relationship is acceptable, deserved or unchangeable.

Believing that we are personally helpless or hopeless, or that our concerns are pointless.

Hanging on to what no longer works for us due to fear, habit, pride or lack of support.

Fear of failure, humiliation, rejection, disapproval, abandonment, disappointment or loss.

Fear of hurting, disappointing or angering people; fear of feeling angry, sad or upset.

Getting unstuck may entail:

Overcoming irrational fears, beliefs and perceptions, to discover new perspectives.

Freeing one self from negative habits, situations and people, to create new choices.

Finding new ways to listen to your inner self and to others, to pursue personal truth.
